In addition to those opportunities listed above, Franklin County is within 30 minutes of historic Gettysburg and Antietam National Military Parks. Furthermore, Franklin County is within 15 minutes of Hagerstown, 30 minutes of Frederick, MD, 60 minutes of Harrisburg, PA and within 90 minutes of the Baltimore/Washington D.C. Metro areas thus creating significantly more opportunities for recreation, shopping, and cultural events.
